Action Pact 2022: Emily Larsen

On June 1 Massachusetts artist, Emily Larsen, installed a public artwork in front of Boston Children’s Museum, a reimagined 3D chalk waterway featuring local marine life thriving in an abundant and diverse ecosystem. As visitors walked the path they found lobsters, clams, fish, turtles, barnacles, and birds and were reminded of the rich and complex balance required to keep our shorelines protected and healthy. Emily's pop-up installation is the third in Action Pact Boston’s Visioning the Future public artworks series intended to provoke thought and raise awareness about the impacts of climate change.
